“Zee” comes from a proven hunt lineage that boasts many field titles. The most renowned and recent being Aztec’s American Pie, JH, SDX, and 2006 National Amateur Field Champion (who was the sire of Zee’s litter. Zee also was awarded a Prize II Natural Ability (fall 2007). Now “Chevy” is: 2 x NAFC AFC Aztec’s American Pie, JH, SDX
Our “Diva” from a mating between Moxie and Zee appears at the top of this Blog as well as the OwyheeStar Blog. She recently made a huge showing mid-May 2009 (earning very high scores) at Centrailia, Washington. This hunt test was operated by Versatile Hunting Dog Federation. Check out their link below….
Zee is a relatively young stud dog, however, the few litters sired have been promising. The pups are producing field results much like our Diva. Here are two links with more information on versatile hunting dogs and the Federation:

“Zee” is extremely active, high-endurance, and powerful. His pups might not be appropriate for every Weimlover. On a very positive note, however, his pups are super friendly. This coupled with the super-sonic speed however can result in being knocked to the ground in excitement. He doesn’t have a mean bone but his zeal for life and enjoying it can sometimes yield a challenge. Cliff says he took the most work to handle, train, and get results. On the other hand he has the most potential for extreme hunting conditions. He is dogged (forgive the pun) and locks on to a search. Although his swimming early-on was puppy-like in style, he has developed into a graceful swimmer.
“Zee” is just starting to come into his own. We love what we see!
